This RS PRO variac transformer is made for surface, floor or wall mounting. It features an enclosed construction, has a long life span and needs little maintenance, so will save you time.

Its silver-plated commutator means the transformer offers smooth linear output, with no waveform distortion and integrated overload protection. This transformer regulates well as a result of its continuously variable AC output voltage and an overvoltage tap. It has a low operating torque and a low magnetising current making it very efficient. With its screw terminals, it’s also easy to mount.

The transformer is from the RS PRO professional range of ’Varivolt’ transformers and is available in single or three-phase versions across a range of current ratings. It’s used for power transmission and distribution, power conversions, and audio systems – whether around the house or in industrial environments.
