From the RS PRO professional range, this open-style variac transformer is highly efficient when supplying electricity between circuits. Its heavy-duty construction and high-quality components mean it will be long-lasting and require little attention once installed, saving you valuable time.

This transformer has a silver-plated commutator providing smooth linear output and no waveform distortion. An integrated overload capacity guarantees your safety. The variac's features include a continuously variable alternating current output voltage and an overvoltage tap for regulation. Its efficiency is also enhanced by its low operating torque and a low magnetising current.

With a range of current ratings, this product can be found in single or three-phase versions. You can flash mount this kind of open-style variable transformer within control panels, enclosures or process control equipment. It's suitable for use in homes and in industry. RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, it contains few hazardous materials.
