RS PRO Pozidriv Countersunk Steel Wood Screw Yellow Passivated, Zinc-Plated, 5 mm Thread, 40 mm Length
Need reliable fasteners to join timber, chipboards or medium-density fibre (MDF) boards? These RS PRO countersunk steel screws provide a strong hold thanks to their threads that extend up to the underside of the head.
The screws have a Pozidriv head, which means you can generate greater twisting force than with standard screws. This allows you to achieve a more secure fitting. You can insert them flush or below the surface of the wooden boards for a smooth surface. The steel body of the fasteners has a yellow plated zinc coating that acts as a protective layer, so the screws are long-lasting and resistant to corrosion.
You won't need to drill pilot holes with most kinds of timber when you're using these screws, saving you effort and time. They're sold in bags of 100 so you'll have a lot of screws on hand.
