RS PRO 230 V AC, 2 x 30 V AC Toroidal Transformer, 500 VA 2 Output


Use this toroidal transformer from the RS PRO range to step the power in control circuits up or down. It has a primary voltage rating of 230 V AC, as well as a secondary voltage rating of 2 x 30 V AC. This means it allows you to charge two devices at once.

You can create various circuit configurations by connecting the twin secondary windings in parallel or in series. It's quick and easy to install in a variety of locations as it's both light and compact. It has double-insulated lead wire terminations that will prevent electric shocks.

The transformer has a nylon 6.6 casing that meets the UL94-V0 safety standard, ensuring the component has low flammability. Toroidal transformers are often used in medical equipment, as their noiseless operation and low current leakage minimise interference with other devices.
