The Jumo Pluggable sheathed thermocouple with a 2.5 m long compensating cable is suitable for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media thanks to the Seebeck effect. The vibration-resistant design guarantees a long service life. The good heat transfer between sheath and thermocouple enables short response times and high measuring accuracy. Due to its properties the sheath thermocouple is therefore often used in chemical plants, power stations, pipelines, in engine construction and on test benches. The single thermocouple 1x NiCr-Ni K according to DIN EN 60584 (class 2) is designed for temperatures from -200 to +1200 °C. The protection tube is made of Inconel 2.4816. A silicone-insulated compensating cable is used for the electrical connection, which withstands ambient temperatures from -50 to +180 °C.
