RS PRO Tachometer Reflective Tape

The RS PRO tachometer reflective tape is a pre-fixed marker tape for measuring the speed of rotating equipment. It can be used with fans, wheels and rollers during operation or where close access is restricted. As part of our tried-and-tested RS PRO range, the product has been stringently tested by engineers before receiving our stamp of approval.

The tape has a self-adhesive backing and can be used with non-contact optical tachometers and stroboscopes. A piece of it is fixed to the item to be measured and when the instrument is pointed at it, the light reflects to the receiver to generate the reading.

The tape is certified to Restriction of Hazardous Materials (RoHS) standards as well as conforming to relevant standards for electrostatic control (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). You'll find it used in industrial settings during testing and commissioning work.
