These round tubes from RS PRO are a quick and easy solution for constructing safety railings. Available as a set of two, the tubes are 1450 mm in length with 48.3 mm outer diameter. To ensure superior safety and strength, they've been formed using pipe size reference 3 of the BS 1387 standards for heavy-duty applications.

These tubes are made of malleable iron for durability and, as they're galvanized, will resist corrosion and rust. Part of the RS PRO series, the product has been stringently tested for quality and consistency. Correct installation assures building code requirement of 2.5 safety factor.

The tubes are commonly used in the construction of pedestrian handrails, directional rails and industrial guard rails. They can be used as the top or mid-rail to link end-posts, mid-posts and/or corner-posts.
