This electronic lighting ballast from RS PRO lets you regulate the current flow to fluorescent lamps to prevent overheating. It can be used with any lighting equipment in earthing protection Class I and II.


The component preheats the coils before establishing an arc to ensure there's no flicker, extending your lamp's lifetime. It runs on electricity, so it's soundless and won't buzz. The ballast is easy to mount and simply screws onto your panel through the slots provided. It also has push-in cable connections for easy wiring.


Fluorescent lighting ballasts like this one protect the circuitry in your lighting equipment in the event of disconnection, lamp failure or end of working life. It can be connected to emergency equipment in compliance with the EN 60598-2-22 standard on emergency lighting.
