Keeps your installation time short and your maintenance low with this RS PRO flat ribbon cable connector. This compact connector comes with clear terminal labels that make assembling your electronic devices easy. This type of connector is used to optimise wiring and is particularly suitable as an alternative to a pure wire approach.

It has a male interface module plug with 40 contacts and a DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute of Standardisation) rail mount design. Through its screw-clamp and a 7 mm insulating strip, it keeps your connection secure.

Thanks to its simple ejector mechanism, you can eject your cables easily, too. The component is designed for cables with a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm². You'll find it in factories and manufacturing plants, where its dependable ’plug and play’ interface is suited for industrial control systems.
