RS PRO Flame Retardant Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulation, 4.75 m x 610 mm x 13 mm


This calcium-magnesium silicate blanket is the ideal thermal insulation for heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) ducts and chimneys. That's because it contains no lubricants or binders, so it won't give off smells or fumes when first exposed to heat.

The soft and flexible blanket makes for a no-fuss installation – simply cut it to any shape you need. It's suitable for passive fire protection, or for use in heat shields and mould-wrap insulation, because it's flame-retardant, resistant to chemicals and immune to thermal shock. The Superwool 607 HT long fibres stay soft to the touch, even with continuous use and at maximum temperature, and the insulation contains no dust particles, so it won't irritate the skin or breathing passages.

The sheet is exempt from European labelling requirements under Note Q of European Regulation 1272/2008. You'll find this versatile product providing insulation in storage heaters and domestic ovens.
