RS PRO Heating Element, 100 mm, 250 W, 220 V AC


Use this cartridge heater from RS PRO for immersion heating at high temperatures. As the leads are made from fibreglass-insulated wire, the unit can handle temperatures of up to +450°C. Its compact size means you can pass it through a tank wall for localised heating in small spaces.

The unit features a robust ceramic cap that protects it against vibrations and impacts. The cap's deep holes prevent the wires from fraying when bent for a long service life. The heating element is made with a nickel-chromium resistance wire that's rust and corrosion-resistant, so you're assured sustained performance in harsh environments.

Heating elements such as this one are typically used in industrial settings, including warehouses and workshops. To prevent excess heating, we strongly recommend that you use this heater with a temperature sensor and control system.
