Apply targeted heat to metal plates and solids using this tube-shaped heating element from RS PRO. The cartridge heater is well-suited for a range of demanding industrial environments, including packaging and plastics applications.

These heating elements are designed to slide easily into drill holes in both imperial and metric sizes. Please note that in order for the element to work it must be fitted in tightly, so ordering the correct dimensions is crucial. This compact model has a diameter of just half an inch and is 3 inches long.

This cartridge heater can handle temperatures right up to +450°C thanks to the fibreglass-insulated, 10-inch lead wire. This means you can use it in manufacturing processes that call for localised heat. A nickel-chromium resistance wire ensures optimal heater life and is evenly wound for an even heat distribution. An RS PRO quality product, this heater has been stringently tested for safety.
