RS PRO Universal Joint, Single, Plain, Bore 12mm, 56mm Length

These universal joints from the tried and tested RS PRO range are designed for connecting rotating machinery such as conveyors to a prime mover. You can also use them in a variety of vehicles if you need to connect two rods or shafts where the axes are positioned at an angle to each other.

These steel joints are plain bearing universal couplings well-suited to applications with an operating angle between 3° and 45° and a maximum speed of 1000 rpm. They're bored hub type joints with a bore size of 12 mm.

It's recommended that you use a protective gaiter and lubrication with these plain bearings, as this will ensure smooth operation and help prolong their lifetime. Some examples of suitable applications for universal joints include belt conveyors, vehicle prop shafts and centrifugal pumps.
