RS PRO Data Cable, 6 Pairs, 12 Cores, 0.25 mm², Screened, 24 AWG, 100m, Tinned Copper Shield

Flame retardant halogen-free cable with polyolefin sheathing, that meets BS 4066 and IEC 332 Part 1, which gives off low smoke and fumes when burnt.,The conductors are made of 7/0·2 mm (24 a.w.g.) stranded tinned copper, polyolefin insulated and twisted in colour-coded pairs. A drain wire of similar gauge is included and there is an overall foil wrap.

These cables are not to be regarded as power cables or cables for the direct connection of equipment to mains power supplies.

The conductors are wrapped in foil to reduce external signal interference and a tinned-copper drain wire is included for grounding. This cable is halogen-free and releases low levels of smoke and toxic chemicals when burned. It's also flame-retardant thanks to a grey polyolefin sheathing.
