RS PRO 20W/m Trace Heating Kit Self Regulating, 240 V, 30 m


During the winter, pipes can burst due to freezing and expansion of water. Looking for reliable frost protection to stop pipes from freezing? This trace heat kit from the RS PRO range provides controlled heat for external and internal freeze protection and is suitable for use in the home, hazardous areas or for industrial and commercial purposes.

The self-regulating cable measures 30 metres and comes with a roll of fixing tape to ensure easy installation. It’s managed via a thermostatic control, meaning it automatically changes its power output in accordance with temperatures from inside the pipe, so there's no danger of it overheating. Once installed, it needs minimal maintenance to ensure it performs effectively at low temperatures.

The cable has been tested to meet the requirements of electrical resistance trace heating systems for industrial and commercial applications (BS EN 62395).
