A hermetically sealed IEC Type J thermocouple designed for use in corrosive of wet environments. Comprising of a flat easy to clean impermeable PFA insulated wire sealed to be airtight and protected against moisture, a sensor tip and terminating in bare tails for easy connection.;The Type J thermocouple is IP67 rated, electrically insulated and features exceptional resistance to oils, fluid, chemicals and gases with excellent heat and thermal resistance, and a wide temperature measurement range of -75 up to 260°C.;A hardwearing hermetically sealed thermocouple with a rapid response time with a Class I accuracy tolerance suitable for use in a wide range of applications and perfect for precision temperature measurement of liquids in harsh corrosive environments.
