RS PRO 480 W Embedded Switch Mode Power Supply SMPS, 24 V DC, Enclosed


This RS PRO 480 W embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) will convert mains supplied AC current to provide a safe 24 V DC output suitable for telecoms, manufacturing and machine assembly equipment. This power supply uses a capacitor to maintain its required output voltage. It does this by turning the unit on and off thousands of times a second, helping to transfer power without too much resistance.

The wide input voltage range means it's effective for use in many countries. This SMPS also has a compact chassis-mounting design that makes it ideal for fixing to a base plate or backplate.

Accessible screw terminals also mean installation is easy, while short-circuit and overload protections help to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
