Need to convert alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) into an altered DC load? This 300 W embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) is the just right for the job. This electronic circuit with switching regulator is part of our trusted RS PRO range.

While mains electricity is supplied as AC, some electronic equipment and most battery-powered devices require DC. SMPSs have grown in popularity against traditional power converters in recent years for their compact size and overall improved efficiency.

This model is compact and lightweight, with a vented metal case that reduces heat dissipation. It has easy access screw terminals and a printed circuit board (PCB) mount with additional guide pins for simple installation.

This product is RoHS certified, so it won't contain harmful levels of hazardous substances. It’s also built to CE and UL manufacturing standards and comes with a three-year warranty for your peace of mind.
