RS Pro Unterminated IEC C19 Power Cord


From RS Pro a high quality and durable power cable assembly or power cord for connecting an appliance to a mains power supply. This power cord is terminated on one end with an IEC C19 type connector that connects to the appliance. The other end of this power lead is unterminated for termination to a mains plug when convenient. The power lead features an integrated strain relief that provides additional protection and support to the connector and prevents damage caused by excessive bending

What is a Power Cable Assembly?


Power cable assemblies are electrical cables that are pre-terminated with a plug or socket connector. Power cable assemblies can be terminated with connectors on both ends of the cable, or just one. Depending on the application, there are various types to suit a wide range of requirements.

What is an IEC C19 Connector?


This power cord is terminated with a fully moulded IEC C19 plug which is used to connect the cable to an appliance which has an IEC C20 inlet. C19 and C20 connectors have 3 pins, a rated current of 16 A and a maximum temperature rating of 70°C. IEC connectors conform to IEC-60320 specifications laid down by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) to ensure the connector meets common global design standards
