Festo Shock Absorber - DYSW Series - DYSW-5-8-Y1F


This shock absorber from Festo has a progressive cushioning curve to prevent heavy components from slamming to a stop. It's useful in equipment that moves at a slow and constant speed, such as an industrial hydraulic lift or a rotary indexing system. The shock absorber is self-adjusting, so it can automatically accommodate various impact conditions. Its nitrile rubber seals handle compression effectively and offer good resistance to abrasion and corrosive fluids, including oil and petrol. The seals also reduce the amount of maintenance required, as they keep out debris.

A long cushioning stroke offers a steady reduction in piston rod speed to reduce wear and improve the longevity of your hydraulic cylinder. The unit's wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +80°C makes it suitable for use in challenging industrial situations.
