Made from 303-grade stainless steel, this spur gear offers excellent corrosion resistance. It's stronger than its plastic equivalents, meaning it can deliver a greater load-carrying capacity and heat resilience. The straight teeth allow for smoother operation between gears and permit greater mounting distances.

The gear complies with DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute of Standardisation) 867, relating to tooth profile, as well as DIN 3962 and DIN 3963, both relating to tolerances for cylindrical gear teeth. It's suitable for use in applications like metal cutting machines, fuel pumps or marine engines.
