RS PRO HSS Cone Cutter, 16 mm x 30.5 mm


You can use this RS PRO straight tap cone cutter to drill holes of different sizes without having to change drill bit sizes. The cutter's cone shape cuts a larger diameter hole as it passes through the material.

This cutter is made from high-speed steel (HHS) with a titanium aluminium nitride (TiAlN) coating to ensure extreme hardness and exceptional resistance to high temperatures and oxidation. This guarantees you can use it to drill very hard materials that demand high drill speeds safely and effectively.

The cone cutter has a laser-engraved guide on the body so you can clearly see what diameter has been cut, even when the tap is rotating. The three-faced driving shaft prevents the bit from slipping in the drill chuck. You can use this product to create burr-free, clean holes in a variety of hard materials such as stainless steel, nonferrous metals and plastics.
