Schmersal Manöverdon för AZM 161 Safety Switch

Use this solenoid interlock switch from Schmersal to prevent safety guards from being opened during hazardous operations. It works in conjunction with a device, such as a fail-safe delay timer, to control the opening and closing of fences, flaps or doors. The unit's interlocking function is carried out by a blocking bolt, which automatically stops withdrawal of the actuator when dangerous situations occur. It's protected against incorrect locking for improved safety levels and has the ability to both lock and unlock safety equipment for enhanced versatility.

You can easily install the actuator using one-way screws to tighten it securely in place. When welding or riveting the actuator, it's important to avoid altering its insertion depth.

The EX-AZM161 is a solenoid interlock switch designed for explosives atmospheres. It will ensure that sliding, hinged and removable guarding devices cannot be opened until hazardous conditions have come to an end (when used in combination with the control elements of a machine, e.g. fail-safe standstill monitors or fail-safe delay timers). They are also used for cases in which the opening of a guarding device represents a non-permissible intrusion in a production process.
