This handy set includes a pair of test leads designed to hook up your TDR to cables using miniature crocodile clips. You'll find 4mm shrouded connectors at each end for ease of attachment to your cables. Once the leads are connected to your TDR, you can test for faults on metallic cable pairs for fast, reliable error diagnosis.

Use this versatile set of test leads with a TDR1000/3 (261-8015) or TDR1000/3P (261-8016) handheld device. These TDRs come with a hard carrying case that has space to store this accessory for convenient portability.

Megger TDR 1000/3


The Megger TDR1000/3 is a hand held, compact Time Domain Reflectometer for locating faults on metallic cables. It has a minimum resolution of 0.1 m/0.3 ft and a 5 km/15 kft maximum range depending on velocity factor selected and cable type.

Four output impedances are available (25, 50, 75, and 100 Ω) and a velocity factor between 0.2 and 0.99 will meet any cable test requirements.The TDR1000 has a simple selection option which together with a 4 way control switch offers an intuitive operation for the user.

The TDR1000/3 is supplied with a miniature clip lead set (764-2822) ready to test telecom circuits. A fused test lead set for testing power circuits is available separately (please see RS 764-2831)
