RS PRO IP65 1-Way Key Switch, 5 A at 250 V AC


If you need to restrict access to your electrical systems, use this one-way key switch from RS PRO. It fits a 16 mm diameter cut-out on any industry-standard panel.
The switch is supplied with two keys, so you can have a spare or give access to two separate users. You can install the switch both indoors and outdoors thanks to its Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, which means it's protected against water jets from any angle. The contacts are highly resistant to corrosion and rust too, as they're made of silver.
A key switch like this one is often used for controlling access to powered equipment used in public spaces, such as shop front roller shutters. The part has been tested by engineers for quality and safety.
