Kestrel Vane Mount


A free-spinning wind vane, with a cradle to hold a Kestrel anemometer, it will attach to most tripods and hold the Kestrel facing into the wind at all times.

Lightweight and portable
Precision pivot and lightweight vane extension allow the unit to spin freely in even the slightest of breezes
Integral level to ensure correct installation

Kestrel 4000 Series Wind Vane


The Kestrel 4000 Series rotating vane mount is of simple, durable design. Any Kestrel 4000 Series meter will snap into the mount for fitting to a tripod or other -20 fitted bracket, allowing use of an extension pole for taking wind or air flow readings. This turns the Kestrel meter into a full-featured weather station with a large wind vane and precision pivot to keep the Kestrel oriented into the wind for continuous measurement and logging.

Note

This kit is compatible with all Kestrel 4000 Series meters. It will not fit any other Kestrel meters.
