The WT 1010 station set is supplied with a soldering iron, soldering station, soldering tip and soldering iron rest. The 95W soldering station offers great power output with the flexibility over standard soldering irons as they can be used for a variety of applications.
What's included?
- 1 x WT 1 power unit
- 1 x WTP 90 soldering iron
- 1 x WSR 200 soldering iron rest
- 1 x ETA soldering tip
Power Unit
The power unit features push buttons to precisely control the temperature to suit the application, with an easy to read large LCD screen. The temperature range is from 50°C to 450°C, offering a great deal of flexibility for various soldering applications. This then means the heat up and recovery times are provided quicker, allowing the job to be quicker more efficient. The Weller WE 1 soldering station is ESD protected and offers a temperature accuracy of ±9°C. A standby mode allows the station to be automatically powered down to a particular temperature when not in use. This power unit is compatible with Weller WSD and WD series tools, enabling it to be used with 1000 different tool and tip combinations. There is a 3.5mm jack plug and socket on the back of the soldering unit for equipotential bonding. Equipotential bonding enables you to be ESD safe by joining metalwork that may be earthed, to avoid any potential malfunctions from ESD.
Soldering Iron
Part of this WT 1010 soldering set is the WTP 90 soldering iron, this high performance and ergonomically designed iron is great for accurate soldering. The 90W soldering iron is ideal for soldering small and medium components with high energy demand. Not only does the power unit know when to go on standby, but the WTP 90 also utilises a motion sensor to automatically go on standby to reduce energy costs. Interchangeable heating elements provide a great deal of flexibility when using different soldering iron tips. Easy to change out XNT tips enable to quickly change out a tip if required for different tasks, without any additional tool.
Soldering Iron Rest
The Weller WSR200 soldering iron rest is an ideal place to keep the soldering iron when not in use. Supplied with a brass metal wool and a sponge for both wet and dry tip cleaning, both integrated into the stand. The rest can, therefore, be rotated 180° to allow the user to choose.
Soldering Iron Tip
The tip of choice in this set is from the ETA series of soldering tips. The screwdriver tip end measures 1.6 mm by 0.7 mm and is 34.5 mm long. The heat transfer is very effective whilst offering longevity and durability. Easily replaced by simply unscrewing the attached tip, place the replacement tip in and screwing back into place.
