RS PRO H07RN-F Harmonised Rubber Insulated Mains Cable
From RS PRO a high-quality heavy duty and hard wearing H07RN-F flexible harmonised mains power cable with rubber insulation and chloroprene or polychloroprene rubber jacket. This cable has a voltage rating of 450 to 750 V and is designed for use in demanding industrial environments
What is Mains Cable?
A mains power cable connects an appliance to a mains electricity supply through the use of a wall socket or an extension lead which will then be plugged into a mains supply
Cable Construction
This flexible mains cable consists of cores made up of bare stranded copper conductors or wires. Each individual core is surrounded by colour coded rubber insulation for easy identification of the wires. All the cores are then surrounded by a final layer of chloroprene rubber called a sheath or jacket.
What Does H07RN-F Mean?
H07RN-F cable is a type of harmonised cable which means it belongs to the Harmonised Reference System and conforms to the European Harmonisation Standard. This purpose of this standard is to improve standards and quality of cables across Europe to ensure the trade of common standard product.
H07RN-F is the code for this harmonised cable which breaks down into the following:
H = Harmonised
07 = 450 / 750 voltage rating
R = Natural or synthetic rubber insulation
N = Chloroprene or polychloroprene rubber sheath
F = Flexible copper conductors

RS PRO H07RN-F Harmonised Flexible EPR Insulated Mains Cable
Having flexible CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene) sheathed three core round Cable with broadly known EPR insulation material is a panacea to the world demanding connection needs. Mainly where oxidation, heat, oil or flame resistance are crucial parameters in any building construction.
We are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO H07RN-F Harmonised Flexible EPR Insulated Mains Cable characterising of high dielectric strength and above-average ozone and weathering resistance. The conductor material used is bare stranded copper, providing the highest electrical conductivity of all non-precious metals.
The copper's natural Power Cable makes it easy to work with thanks to the ability to bend or twist without breaking the material. The material is safe during installation, which will find appreciation by electricians while installing copper wire. Another advantage is that no special tools are needed, meaning less time to absorb your day.
There are no surprises as to where the Electrical Mains Cable supply serves. This flexible Cable has a voltage rating of 450 V up to 750 V making it perfect solutions for use in medium-duty domestic and light industrial appliances.
The EPR Mains Power Cable has a medium thermal range in the region of -25°C up to +60°C. The sheath is one of the few polymers that come both as thermoplastic and thermoset jacket. This combination is making the CPE jacket resistant to weather /sun and flame, letting you make the use of the Cable almost everywhere.
The core of 3 wiring systems serves as Mains Cable power supplying electricity using a wall socket or an extension lead, which will then be plugged into a mains supply.
The copper conductor meets Eroclass Eca network Cable standards, giving you access to construction site projects where safety is vital.
