Festo Bellows PUR Suction Cup, 30mm, 34N - VASB-30-1/8-PUR-B


Looking for an easily interchangeable suction cup to hold and move objects without damaging them? This bellows suction cup from Festo's VASB series is ideal for working with pieces of uneven height, or with fragile parts. It's made from polyurethane (PUR), meaning it's able to stand up to moderate corrosion stress and is free from potentially harmful copper and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It's connected to the vacuum with a G1/8 brass threaded connection, which resists corrosion and is compatible with many standard components.

How do pneumatic suction cups work?


When a suction cup contacts an object, a vacuum generator draws the air out from the space between the cup and the item. This presses the suction cup against the item, holding it firmly.

What is holding force?


Holding force is the amount of force required to move an object. It's measured in Newtons. Make sure you choose a suction cup with the holding force you need to move your object.
