RS PRO Pillow Block Bearing 40 mm ID


Pillow block bearings like this two-bolt model from RS PRO are also known as plummer blocks. A special type of bearing housing made from heavy-duty cast iron, they're used to support rotating shafts in industrial equipment like agricultural or packaging machines.

The bearing housing has a pedestal mount. Offering a low-friction solution for your light load applications, the balls inside the bearing roll when the shaft rotates. The shaft and insert on this model feature two bolts rather than one, which makes it more secure.

This pillow block bearing has an inside diameter of 40 mm and a mounting hole measuring 17 mm. Part of the quality RS PRO series, it's been stringently tested for safety and reliability. It also complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 for safe levels of electrostatic discharge.
