RS PRO Opaque Fluoroplastics PTFE Rod, 300mm x 70mm Diameter

This opaque fluoroplastics PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) rod measures 300 mm in length and 70 mm in diameter. It's useful for insulation, chemical and mechanical applications.

Thanks to its PTFE construction, this rod is resistant to chemicals and radiation and holds up under harsh operating conditions. It has excellent dielectric properties, so it's a good insulator, and it's safe for use at temperatures up to +260°C. It has a high tensile strength of 25 MPa and is low-friction and low-adhesion.

Part of the RS PRO series, this product is tested for safety and quality. It meets the standards of the DIN (Deutsches Institut für Nurmung, German Institute for Standardisation) and the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) for plastic and elastomer testing. It also has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 from Underwriters Laboratories.
