Telemecanique Sensors Safety Limit Switch


The Telemecanique Sensors XCSD series safety limit switch has a roller plunger actuator and 4 contacts. This switch has 2NO/2NC contact with screw connection and positive opening switching function. This switch is designed for monitoring access doors and/or guards on machines with low inertia and also on machines with high inertia, when used in conjunction with an actuator operated guard switch. When used on their own they are always installed in positive mode but if combined in pairs then one switch is in positive mode and the other in negative mode.
Note:
With the appropriate monitoring system and correctly wired these switches can reach safety category 4 conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1, PL e conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1, SIL 3 conforming to EN/IEC 61508.
