As the unit regulates power supply, you don't have to worry about flickering lights. Short-circuit protection means that power spikes won't leave you in the dark. When a fault has been detected and fixed, the unit auto-recovers without the need for manual intervention. As this is a constant current device, it's ideal for energising high-powered LEDs.
