RS PRO S.24 Dezincification-Resistant, Full Port Brass Ball Valve - 1/4 Turn

This hot forged Ball Valve from our high-quality own RS PRO brand is designed to meet your requirements for handling water in areas where there is a problem of dezincification. New technology allows this valve to retain the reliability and competitiveness of brass. When it comes to corrosion resistance, this valve is comparable to bronze.

Ball Valve Body

• Dezincification resistant ADZ-T and ADZ-P brass approved to SBN-PFS 1983:2 and NR-BFS 1988:18 specifications

• Hot forged sand blasted DZR (Dezincification-resistant) unplated body and cap sealed with Loctite® or equivalent thread sealant

Ball Valve, Standard, Padlockable and Panel Mount

These nickel plated brass ball valves have seals designed to remove scale deposits with each operation. The polished brass ball is sealed on both sides by nylon ring seals that are supported by compensating nitrile ’O’ rings. This arrangement keeps the seal in contact with the ball, preventing leakage should seal wear occur. A single threaded insert forms part of the valve body, maintaining the required seal compression and allowing the valve to be disassembled easily for inspection.
