This angular contact bearing from SKF is ideal for situations where you need to apply pressure along the shaft as well as from the side. The 105 mm-diameter inner raceway is displaced relative to the 240 mm-diameter outer raceway, meaning the bearing can support a radial load and an axial load acting simultaneously. As the contact angle increases, so does the axial load carrying capacity of the ball bearing. Angular contact bearings are suitable for high-speed applications including gearboxes, clutches and electric motors.
