RS PRO POM Gear Rack, 2000 mm Long, 636 Teeth, 5 mm Face Width


Any time you need to translate rotational motion into linear motion, this gear rack from RS PRO is up to the job. When used in conjunction with a pinion, it can create vertical and horizontal movement, making it well-suited for use with lifting equipment.

These racks are supplied in two-metre lengths and can be easily cut to whatever size you need. They can be mounted directly onto the application surface or attached using aluminium fixing rails which are available separately. To let you achieve a customised fit, this gear rack is flexible, with a minimum bending radius of 150 mm.

Gear racks are important in applications where shaft rotation is carried out by hand or by a motor. They can also help with directional change, which makes them ideal for use in steering systems.
