RS PRO Stainless Steel Gear Rack, 500 mm Long, 160 Teeth, 10 mm Face Width


This metric gear rack from RS PRO is designed to be resistant to corrosion and wear. This makes it ideal for use in damp or wet environments, such as food-processing plants or areas that are frequently cleaned.

Made from 304-grade stainless steel, this gear rack is better for high-load, high-speed and heavy-duty applications than plastic or nylon equivalents. It has a pressure angle of 20°, which means it has thicker, stronger teeth than 14.5° pressure-angle gears. This makes it durable and longer-lasting. This rack is intended for use with spur gears. The speed and torque of your assembly depend on the number of teeth in your spur gear.

The strength and reliability of this gear rack make it well-suited to use in lifting equipment or to control valves in pipeline transport.
