RS PRO Cable Sleeve Kit, 2:1 Shrink Ratio


Working with the old electricity cable colours? This RS PRO heat shrink harmonisation kit lets you colour match your old wires with new ones. This way, you can mark any work done to the cabling as meeting the new IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard. Simply heat the sleeve and it shrinks to fit the cable within. This kit is often found in industrial settings such as factories and labs.

The box contains an assortment of heat shrink sleeves that are made from polyolefin, so they won't split or break. Each colour-coded sleeve provides insulation and mechanical protection, as well as making identification easy. You can transport and organise them inside the hardwearing PVC case provided.

The polyolefin material is also corrosion-resistant, making the sleeves suitable for use in harsh environments. The kit is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) certified to ensure it contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials.
