From RS PRO we offer you a selection of high-quality defence standard 61-12 Hook up Wire, all with a conductor of annealed flexible tinned coper to Class 5 BS EN 60228. This PVC insulated equipment wire is designed to be used for internal cabling and wiring within electrical, electronic equipment, instrumentation, and control panels. The flexible hook up wire is supplied on 100 m and 500-meter reels plus a range of sheath colours are available making the RS PRO hook up wire and excellent choice when colour coding cable installations is important.

Copper strands are covered by a sheath of material (usually PVC) and act as the conductor of electricity to power its target.
