Apem 2-Axis Joystick Round, IP67 250V

Due to the proven success of the 1000 series joysticks, APEM decided to extend the range and include variations intended for use in harsh environments. All options include a panel seal rating of IP67 and an operating temperature range of -20 to +50°C.
The series comes sprung to centre as standard with an open square gate giving full control of both the X and Y axis (north, south, east and west). To give you the highest possible flexibility of connection, they are supplied as standard without a cable harness.
These units are fitted with the Option 3 version of switches and are able to switch up to 10A on a 240 V ac circuit, higher than most applications would require. The handles are mounted to a stainless steel shaft which in turn is fitted with a Kumho/Neoprene sealing boot. The boot is able to offer protection from substances such as oils and petroleum and is UV resistant.

The high level of ingress protection and the high-quality materials used to produce these units makes them ideal for outdoor use, lifting platforms and materials handling devices.

This unit comes supplied with a + and - limiter for applications where only one axis may be used at a time. The limiters are not pre-fitted so the user can decide which to use or even if it is required. It is also equipped with single pole contacts. This unit comes with single pole contacts.
