The Coverguard Rain Softshell jacket has taped seams which means they are sealed with a waterproof tape to prevent water from seeping through the seams, making the jacket more waterproof. The jacket features a high collar, which can provide extra warmth and protection for the neck area. It also includes chin protection, likely to prevent the zipper from rubbing against the chin uncomfortably.
