The RS PRO AC/DC/IR/GB Electrical Safety Tester delivers a powerful and flexible solution for electrical safety testing with an impressive 500VA AC test capacity. The 240 x 64 Ice Blue Dot Matrix LCD offers clear and detailed displays of test results and parameters, ensuring ease of use in various environments. Capable of insulation resistance measurements up to 50GΩ and featuring a sweep function for DUT characteristic analysis, this tester ensures thorough and accurate testing.

Safety and performance are paramount, with features such as a safety interlock function, zero crossing turn-on operation, and high-intensity flash indicators for caution and status. It also includes both manual and auto modes, true RMS current measurement, and controllable ramp-up times for enhanced precision. With high-resolution settings of 1 μA for measuring current and 2 V for setting voltage, along with a PWM amplifier for increased power efficiency, this tester is engineered for reliable and efficient operation.

  • For the ’Withstand Voltage’ & ’Insulation’ test the user can set the ’Ramp Up’ and ’Test Duration’ time.

  • ARC detection, detects fast voltage or current transients that are not normally detected.

  • Each manual (MANU) test the user sets up can be stored/recalled to/from one of 100 memory locations.

  • Automatic (AUTO) tests allow you to link together up to 16 different MANU tests and run them sequentially.

  • With the use a PWM switched power supply precise test voltage can be set without having to rely on the unit’s mains power voltage supply.

  • Start/Stop functions can be controlled remotely via the ’Remote Terminal’ located on the front of the unit.

  • The rear Signal I/O port can be used for pass/fail/test monitoring and the start/stop control/interlock.

  • The rear RS232/USB ports can be used for programming and remote control.

  • Integral over temperature, voltage and current protection protect the product to support long term use.

  • Pass, Fail, Test, High Voltage and Ready indicators are all displayed on the Ice Blue Dot Matrix LCD Display.

  • Interlock function is a safety feature that is configurable by the user if it is set and the Interlock is left open the INTERLOCK OPEN will be displayed and the test will not start
