RS PRO Powder-coated Die-cast Zinc Butt Hinge Screw, 50 mm x 50 mm x 12 mm


These fixed-pin aluminium butt hinges use a simple design that incorporates reliability and toughness in a compact package. They're part of our stringently tested RS PRO series.

They're made from 12 mm thick die-cast zinc. This lightweight material is stronger and harder than comparable alloys at room temperature. Die-cast zinc can also withstand high operating temperatures and has good corrosion resistance. For a premium-quality, durable finish, these hinges are powder coated. This gives them an attractive finish so they can also be used as a design element. They come in a space-saving 50 x 50 mm design with pre-drilled holes for quick and easy mounting.

The hinges conform to the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, for protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge. They're a good choice for more demanding environments and heavy-duty applications, such as in electrical panels or heating and ventilation systems.
