Use this safety switch from Schmersal to ensure equipment isn't inadvertently opened in dangerous operating conditions. It fits to the hinge of a panel or door and breaks the power supply to a component when it's opened. The reliable safety device works automatically, so there's no need for manual operation. It's compatible with both left and right-hinged doors and can be mounted inside or outside a safety guard for added versatility. It also features an adjustable switching angle, so it can be customised to meet the demands of your application.

How do you adjust the switching angle of this component?


You can easily change the switching angle of this safety hinge by using the supplied adjustment tool. Turning clockwise results in a smaller switch angle, while turning anticlockwise results in a larger switch angle. This is reversed if the component is internally mounted.
