RS PRO Two-Part ABS Enclosure for Wall Mounting


Introducing the range of RS PRO IP53 General Purpose ABS Enclosures. This two-part enclosure is a high-quality and high-frequency unit that can be wall mounted and is ideal for shielding electronic equipment. It is also suitable for a range of other applications that don’t require hermetic seals and has an IP rating of IP53 making it a great unit for basic protection.

• The enclosure lid and base are moulded in durable and high-strength ABS and the lid offers a recess for keypads or overlays

• The solid ABS material reduces noise and the IP53 rating means it’s a useful unit that keeps dust and debris out

• The lugs on the enclosure allow the unit to be securely wall mounted, ideal for items that need to be kept high or out of reach

• The general-purpose enclosure lid is mounted by securing the base of the enclosure to it and attaching the enclosure to the wall by using the mounting ears (the screws to attach the enclosure to the wall are not included)

• Polished finish for easy cleaning and keeping the surface dust and debris free

What is Ingress Protection?

This enclosure has an IP53 rating so only protected from water spray, so this product is not recommended for outside use.
