If you need an easy way to install countersunk screws, choose this countersink drill bit from RS PRO. It creates a crater at the surface of a conventional drilled hole so you can fully embed your countersunk screws in a surface.

The shaft of the drill bit fits into your drill driver securely and is thick enough to withstand high-pressure drilling into dense materials. The hexagonal end cuts through the surface material and shaves away the edges as the end thickens out, leaving a smooth, clean hole.

The end has three flutes to reduce vibration for greater precision during use. Use this drill bit at slower speeds for extra steadiness and accuracy. You can also use it after regular drilling to remove tough burr distortions at the surface of the hole.
