Need to control three circuits at once? This Phoenix Contact relay module features three separate poles, so you can power three outputs at the same time with just one switch. It operates when an outside electrical impulse – such as a wall switch or the button on an appliance – magnetises a coil inside the relay to open or close the contacts. This lets you use a low power signal to control a larger load. The normally open, non-latching set-up of this relay means the contacts return to their original open state when the current is turned off.
A polarity protection diode prevents the relay from being damaged by accidental reversal of polarity, while a damping diode reduces voltage spikes. To help with installation, the unit comes pre-assembled with a push-in connection. Non-latching relays are particularly useful for keyboards and other push-button operations.
