RS PRO Steel Base Drum Heater, 200l

When you need to preheat liquids or maintain proper heat distribution in a metal or plastic drum, this base drum heater from RS PRO offers a robust solution. It measures 550 mm long by 600 mm wide and has a power rating of 900 W.

The heater is made from mild steel that's protected with a high-temperature coating. A silicone-insulated etched foil heater provides even heat distribution, and it's insulated with 50 mm of high-density rock wool for minimal transference of heat to the base. The thermostat regulates temperatures between 0°C and +150°C, and an IP40 rating means it's protected against small tools and wires greater than 1 mm. It's powered by a flexible armoured cable that's 2 m in length.

You'll find this base drum heater useful for heating and reducing the viscosity of liquids in drums up to 200 litres. It's often used in food production and manufacturing.
