This RS PRO DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter connects your computer or graphics card to a DVI device, such as a monitor or projector. The five-metre long cable features male DisplayPort and DVI-D connectors, so you can make a direct video connection instead of relying on an adapter with a separate cable. It’s commonly used in digital entertainment centres, home offices and workplaces.

The DisplayPort interface was designed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) to provide a royalty-free alternative to HDMI, while maintaining high image quality. This adapter supports both 8-bit and 10-bit deep colour and a video bandwidth of up to 10.8Gpbs. It features a 20-pin connector that locks securely in place with screws, so there’s no need to worry about accidental disconnections.
