The solid-nut-style calipers are built to a simple design that makes them robust and durable. They're easy to adjust over the entire range, with the balanced legs offering uniform tension for a more accurate measurement. Their polished natural steel finish stands up well to corrosion, so you can be sure that they'll be in good working condition for longer.
The calipers meet the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ESD S20.20:2014 and British Standard (BS) EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, which means that they won't damage equipment through electrostatic discharge.
